CORE Lighting System

Allowing the Chiropractor to interface your nerve system and “read” the indicators that show where, when, and how your body can receive the best “clear out adjustment” is the primary purpose of the CORE Lighting System. In this metaphor the GREEN lights indicate the area(s) ready for an adjustment, then the understanding the YELLOW lights indicate the system is reaching threshold, and finally the RED lights indicate the “clear out” and the stopping point for that office visit. The intention is to give the maximum adjustment that your body can handle on each visit.

CORE Health Integration

"C.H.I." Dr. Holt has coined the term CORE Health Integration to summarize the years of study of many, many chiropractic protocols and techniques.  After 29 years of study, we have developed a customized adjustment that evaluates you on each visit to confirm that we are able to create a "clear out adjustment".  A clear out adjustment is defined as "the maximum amount of adjusting that your body can handle on that individual visit".

BGI

BGI was developed by Dr. Sue Brown and is part of the cutting edge of Chiropractic. Bio-Geometric Integration provides an understanding of the innate geometry of the body and force dynamics surrounding the creation and release of subluxations. The philosophy, science, and art of chiropractic are examined from a post- Newtonian point of view, providing the opportunity to express and understand chiropractic in accord with contemporary science. Through understanding the innate geometry of the body, the chiropractor is able to more effectively and gently release the subluxation and assess the effectiveness of the adjustment. The geometric understanding of the body also serves to bridge the gap between the many techniques of chiropractic by providing a common language and understanding from which to converse.

Toftness

Developed by I. N. Toftness over 80 years ago, the Toftness System is a low-force technique practiced by thousands of chiropractors the world over.  It is one of the oldest and most researched techniques in the chiropractic profession.

The basic theory of the Toftness System is that the nervous system has an electromagnetic energy associated with normal function. When the nervous system is not functioning normally – as when there is a subluxation – the electromagnetic energy is also abnormal.

The Toftness practitioner’s primary task is to find a subluxation and to remove it with a chiropractic adjustment. Toftness patients experience a gentle technique that works to restore balance and promote wellness.

Blair Upper Cervical

Blair upper cervical care is a unique system of finding and correcting nerve interference (subluxation) in the upper neck area. Precise x-rays are taken to custom tailor the neck adjustment to your individual spinal anatomy and condition. This is important as we all look as different on the inside as the outside. This "blue print" of your neck allows the Blair chiropractor to deliver the adjustment that is exactly what your body needs.

Concept Therapy

The Concept-Therapy approach to chiropractic was created by George Thurman Fleet, D.C. Dr. Fleet was born in Blacksburg, Virginia on September 14, 1895 and grew up in several Virginia communities, where he completed the sixth grade. Like many chiropractors and future chiropractors, Fleet served during World War 1 with General John J. Pershing’s Allied Expeditionary Forces in France. He was assigned to the U.S. Army’s 26th Infantry, First Division. Fleet arrived in Europe as a sergeant, but rose to the rank of captain through a battlefield commission.  Among his decorations were the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star, the Purple Heart and France’s Croix de Guerre... read more»

Dr. Charles Asks some important questions of interest to Marshfield residents - Chiropractor Marshfield Dr. Charles Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
